When I was pregnant with my second child back in 2002, I left a high paying job in Ottawa and moved to Toronto with my family. I was excited at the thought of pursuing my career in Toronto and I tried desperately to get a job, but no one would hire me because I was pregnant. I reluctantly became a stay at home and that’s when I made the amazing discovery of the world of entrepreneurship. I became involved in direct sales and also started several businesses from scratch, helping others do the same. My newest venture is a co-working space called l’espace PME, where entrepreneurs and families come together to grow their business and family. I know what it’s like to work 9 to 5 and to have a side business that eventually becomes your bread and butter. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve met many women that were afraid to make the jump and many others that have done it and have been successful at it. My desire is to put these women together and create a powerful movement called She Did It! Through a web show, talk show, networking events and masterminds, we will create a community of women that support each other to make it happen. If I did it and she did it, so can you…Join the movement!
