Lebanese and Standing

My business experience began as a child on the front lines of my parents‚ a small business  Hanna’s Bakery, the first Lebanese bakery in Ottawa, Canada. Hanna’s Bakery was where my passion for business and customer service first began. More importantly the experience helped strengthen my connection to my Lebanese identity and involvement in the community. Additionally over the years I have had the opportunity to go to Lebanon with the Canadian Delegation for the International Committee for Safeguarding the Cedars of Lebanon and take part in planting cedar trees and working in a UNDP LIFE Project on the Environment. I have also fulfilled the role of president vice president and board member on various boards and committees in Outaouais and internationally. I have worked on various city-wide projects for businesses and organizations including Growing Up Great (a United Way initiative) NGOs local school boards and religious boards. I had a particularly wonderful time serving on the Ontario Coalition For Better Child Care and Child Care Council as well as the management of an Ottawa-based child care facility and family resource centre. Developing a strong business or organization depends heavily upon defining its identity tailoring its product/service offerings creating a plan around fostering its relationship with customers/stakeholders and creating strong messaging to connect with its target audience. I live to connect plan expose position network and promote companies, organizations, institutions and individuals to relevant markets. Doing this stimulates my passions. It brings me joy and excitement to serve and engage.
